Back in June, Netflix released a documentary that highlighted the efforts of Black stylists and designers who changed the landscape of fashion everywhere. From Dapper Dan's custom Gucci designs to Misa Hylton’s iconic styling, Black people are responsible for the fashion trends you see today but yet we are not the names associated with the trends. With Black Friday and Christmas around the corner, I wanted to share some of my favorite Black-Owned Fashion Brands that you can shop from this holiday season. Even if you can’t purchase something from these brands it’s important to share them, follow their work, and support them socially. (If you want to get me a gift just dm me lol.)
